A local authority is looking for a Policy, Strategy and Partnerships Officer to support delivery of corporate policy, strategic partnerships and improvement activity.

You will work closely with senior leadership, Cabinet Members and external partners to help shape policy, drive strategic initiatives and support the organisation’s corporate improvement programme.

Key responsibilities

  • Support development of corporate policies, strategies and plans
  • Provide policy and project support to senior leadership and Cabinet
  • Draft high quality briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Support and coordinate strategic partnerships linked to community priorities
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners
  • Identify improvements and support organisational and cultural change
