Overview
Our client is a growing online furniture brand with a fast-paced, creative and collaborative culture. Starting five years ago as a UK sofa supplier they now offer complete home and office furniture ranges in an ever-increasing number of countries. Design-wise they are dedicated to delivering engaging, visually impactful work across digital and print platforms, and are now seeking a talented Midweight Graphic Designer to join their team on a fully remote 12-month maternity cover contract by the start of November; ideally leading to permanent role.
What you’ll actually be doing
- Producing marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, email campaigns and social media assets from concept to fulfilment
- Collaborating closely with marketing, product and content teams to deliver consistent brand messaging
- Managing multiple projects from initial brief through to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met
- Contributing fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions and applying brand guidelines consistently
- Preparing artwork for print and liaise with external suppliers when required
- Supporting photoshoots across the UK (mainly London, but not always)
You
- A 2-4 year stint within agency or in-house design will likely have you at the right level in the team
- Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, attention to detail and getting the most from a brand while staying within the lines – online retail experience would be a big plus but doesn’t define the perfect person
- Experience of designing for both digital and print platforms
- Solid understanding of typography, layout and visual hierarchy
- Motion graphics, video editing or UI/UX design experience would be a bonus
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities effectively from a distance
