Senior Sales Executive – London (3 days per week in office)

Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business growth across the UK and wider European financial services market. This is a high‑impact, hunter‑focused role responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new logo opportunities within complex financial institutions. You will engage senior stakeholders across Operations, Data, Technology, Risk, and Finance functions while leading strategic enterprise sales cycles. Working closely with Product, Pre‑Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams, you will help clients solve complex operational and data challenges while supporting their digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy across financial services organisations throughout the UK and Europe.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while building a structured enterprise sales pipeline.
  • Create account plans, map key stakeholders, and execute multi‑level engagement strategies within complex organisations.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities aligned to quota expectations.
  • Manage opportunity progression and qualification using structured sales methodologies and CRM systems.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and maintain strong pipeline discipline.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts, RFI/RFP responses, and solution design activities.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers across business and technology functions.
  • Contribute to regional go‑to‑market initiatives and identify new market opportunities.

Requirements

Experience – 8+ years in enterprise technology sales. Proven success selling SaaS, software, or operational technology solutions into financial services organisations. Strong track record of winning new business and managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles. Experience building and managing large, qualified sales pipelines. Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.

Skills – Strong understanding of financial services operating models, capital markets, post‑trade operations, data management, or regulatory environments. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to navigate complex organisations and influence senior decision‑makers across business and technology functions.
