Overview
Lead Product Manager - Card Acquiring / Payfac ecosystem. Salt has partnered with a leading, product‑led pan‑European Fintech that aims to simplify life for small and medium businesses across Europe through cutting‑edge, AI‑driven products. With substantial funding to date and backing from a highly reputable VC, the company is entering a phase of scaled growth with ambition to 10X its customer base by the end of 2026.
They are looking to hire a Lead Product Manager to own their Acquiring and Payment facilitation experience from scratch, building the systems and experiences that help their customers accept payments and get paid faster. You’ll shape how the company becomes a true PayFac, owning everything from merchant onboarding to settlements. Alongside driving the card payments vision and strategy, you will also help the business explore alternative payment methods and new ways for customers to get paid as they scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the card payments vision and strategy
- Build and evolve the Acquiring and Payment facilitation experience from scratch
- Own merchant onboarding, settlement flows and risk/compliance
- Explore alternative payment methods and new ways for customers to get paid
- Drive cross‑company initiatives and collaborate with other product functions
Qualifications
- Significant experience in payments, card acquiring or merchant services
- Proven track record of building complex financial products, ideally in a Fintech or B2B payments tech scale‑up
- Strong understanding of payment facilitation, merchant onboarding, settlement flows and risk/compliance
- Experience managing cross‑company initiatives
- Experience managing other Product Managers
- Plus points for experience with card networks (Visa/ Mastercard) or payment processors
