Lead Test Engineer / Test Coordinator (DV Cleared)
Location: South West (Dorset Area) - 5 days onsite (Data Centre environment)
Rate: Β£600 - Β£700 per day
Duration: 6 Months (Option to transition to Permanent / FTE)
Clearance: Active DV Clearance required
We are currently partnering with a high-profile technology client to secure an experienced Lead Test Engineer / Test Coordinator to support a critical project rectification plan and accelerate key delivery dates. This is an autonomous, hands-on role embedded within a close-knit onsite team (Data Centre site in Dorset, with occasional travel to London).
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of test coordination and execution within a physical Data Centre environment.
- Work independently on-site alongside an engineer and administrative support.
- Perform end-to-end IP testing and verification across telecommunications and Windows-based systems.
- Accelerate existing test streams to bring forward key project milestones.
Key Requirements
- Active DV Clearance (UK sole nationality required due to clearance constraints; lapsed DV within 9 months can be reinstated).
- Strong domain background in Telecoms and IP Testing.
- Solid technical grounding in Windows environments and Data Centre operational testing.
- Proven track record as a Test Lead / Senior Tester capable of working autonomously without hand-holding.
