The role involves leading our UK organic search strategy – driving scalable customer acquisition through SEO and ASO. Reporting to the Director of Performance & Lifecycle Marketing, this is a key leadership role within the UK marketing team. You'll position organic search as a core growth engine, connecting technical excellence and content strategy to measurable commercial outcomes: traffic, applications, and first trades. As we pivot from derivatives toward investing and crypto, you'll redefine our organic search approach for high‑intent growth segments – while adapting to the rise of AI‑driven search platforms (Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity).
What you’ll do:
- Lead the UK SEO & ASO strategy, focusing on high‑impact acquisition keywords
- Realign SEO towards investing and crypto growth opportunities
- Optimise for emerging AI search behaviours and answer engines
- Partner with central technical teams to maintain SEO health
- Set and deliver against KPIs including share of search, organic traffic, and conversion
- Manage one direct report and SEO agencies for performance delivery
- Collaborate across Paid Media, CRM, and Brand to integrate SEO into wider marketing plans
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ SEO experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or growth‑focused role
- Proven success driving organic growth in competitive sectors (FinTech, trading, or eCommerce)
- Strong technical and content SEO expertise; ASO experience a plus
- Commercial, data‑driven mindset with a hands‑on approach
- Confident communicator able to translate SEO impact into business results
