A globally recognised consumer brand, sitting at the intersection of gaming and lifestyle culture, is looking for a Gaming Project Specialist on a contract basis.

This isn’t a vague “social media” role dressed up in gaming language. You’ll be embedded in a dedicated gaming department, doing proper community and creator work. If you live and breathe Discord, understand how streaming ecosystems actually work, and can manage creator relationships without someone holding your hand, this is worth your time.

What you’ll own:

  • Managing and growing the brand’s Discord community (tone, moderation, engagement, growth)
  • Running and supporting the affiliate and creator programme across Twitch and TikTok
  • Building genuine relationships with streamers and influencers, not just sending mass briefs
  • Briefing creators on product campaigns and coordinating collaborations end-to-end
  • Partnering daily with internal social, digital, and wider marketing teams
  • Acting as the connective tissue between live community activity and product campaign moments

Who they want to hear from:

Mid‑level. You’ve managed communities or influencer programmes in gaming, entertainment, consumer brands (retail, sport, gaming environments), or fast‑paced digital and events spaces. You understand streaming culture, not necessarily the technical execution, but the ecosystem, the language, and what makes creators and communities engage. Comfortable with stakeholders across a business. Personal interest in gaming is a genuine plus, but not a dealbreaker.

The detail:

  • Rate: £200 per day (maximum)
  • Start: Monday, 30th March
  • Length: Until the end of 2025, with strong potential to extend
  • Location: London, hybrid, 3 days per week on-site at their London office (mandatory)
  • Working pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week
  • IR35: Inside IR35, umbrella company only. Ltd and Sole Trader are not accepted.

Perks:

  • Access to gaming subscriptions
  • Brand merchandise and related brand perks
  • Rates depend on experience and client requirements
