SALT is supporting a global enterprise software business in hiring a Customer Insights Specialist for its international product marketing function.

Role Overview

This contract role supports customer‑led decision‑making across international markets by designing, running, and synthesising customer research. You'll manage end‑to‑end research projects in partnership with internal marketing stakeholders and external agencies. The position reports into the Marketing Research Manager and plays a key role in converting multi‑source data into actionable insights that shape product and marketing strategy.

  • 12‑month contract, inside IR35
  • Hybrid working in London
  • £200 per day

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and delivery of quantitative and qualitative customer research projects.
  • Create research briefs, questionnaires, and discussion guides.
  • Analyse primary research alongside secondary, behavioural, and transactional data.
  • Distil complex multi‑source data into clear insight narratives and recommendations.
  • Present insights to senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams across regions.
  • Identify relevant data sources and methods to answer key business questions.

About You

  • 3+ years' experience in a research or insights agency environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Proven end‑to‑end research project management capability.
  • Strong insight synthesis skills, combining multiple data sources.
  • Experience working on multi‑country or cross‑market research initiatives.
  • Comfortable analysing raw datasets.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in an additional language is a plus.
