Salt is recruiting on behalf of a Local Government client undertaking a major digital transformation programme, including the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud across Finance, HR, and Payroll. We’re looking for an experienced Change Manager to play a key role in ensuring successful user adoption, embedding new ways of working, and driving engagement across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver change strategies to support SAP and digital transformation projects.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication of goals, impacts, and benefits.
- Support process redesign and new system adoption across Finance, HR, and Payroll.
- Coordinate training, readiness, and post go-live support.
- Monitor and report on change progress and benefits realisation.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, digital leads, and business stakeholders to embed sustainable change.
Skills and experience required
- Proven background as a Change Manager on SAP implementation or transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of ERP change impacts across Finance, HR, and Payroll.
- Experience developing and delivering communications, training, and adoption plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Exposure to wider digital or IT transformation projects within large organisations, ideally in the public sector.
- A confident, proactive communicator who can engage at all levels and deliver change in complex environments.
Contract details
- Day Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35)
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: Hybrid - 2 to 3 days per week onsite in North London
