We are looking for experienced Software Developers in Test (SDETs) to join a growing engineering team delivering secure, resilient and mission critical technology.
This is an opportunity to work on highly secure systems where quality is built into the software development lifecycle from the outset. You will combine software engineering and quality engineering skills to develop automation frameworks, improve CI/CD pipelines and build tooling that enables teams to deliver reliable software with confidence.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tooling Build software that improves engineering quality and delivery Develop automation across CI/CD pipelines Design automated functional, integration, performance and resilience testing Investigate software defects and perform root cause analysis Improve engineering practices and software quality across delivery teams Work closely with Software Engineers, Architects and DevOps teams Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practice Support delivery of secure, highly resilient software solutions
Essential Skills
Experience as an SDET, Software Test Engineer or Automation Engineer Strong software development background Experience developing automation frameworks Java, Python, C# or similar programming language CI/CD experience Agile delivery experience Strong problem solving skills Excellent stakeholder communication Ability to obtain and maintain UK DV Clearance (Candidates with active DV clearance are highly preferred). Desirable Skills Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar automation tools Performance or resilience testing Platform engineering Cloud technologies Kubernetes or Docker Infrastructure automation Secure or highly assured environments Observability and monitoring experience
