Full Stack Developer
Location: Exeter - Hybrid Rate: £700 per day (Inside IR35) Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance required Contract: Initial 6 month contract with likely extension
The Role We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a Government programme, developing and maintaining secure, scalable web applications within a mixed Azure and AWS cloud environment.
You will work across the full software development lifecycle, building modern front end applications with Next. js and React whilst developing robust Python based APIs and backend services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on complex digital services, collaborating with multidisciplinary Agile teams and delivering high quality software for large scale Government programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and accessible web applications using Next. js, React and Type Script
- Build secure backend services and REST APIs using Python, Fast API or Flask
- Develop solutions using Elasticsearch and modern search indexing technologies
- Integrate applications with OAuth2 authentication, particularly Microsoft Entra ID
- Produce clean, maintainable and well tested code
- Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance existing applications
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions
- Work closely with Product Owners, Designers and Technical Architects
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer reviews and technical discussions
- Produce technical documentation where required
