As a Senior SEO Consultant, you’ll lead and deliver high-impact technical and strategic SEO campaigns across diverse industries such as SaaS, eCommerce, and Travel. Reporting to an SEO Lead or the Head of SEO Client Delivery, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, contributing to strategy and solving complex SEO challenges, coaching and developing peers, and continuously improving frameworks and processes that make SALT’s work best-in-class for clients. This is a senior individual contributor role, ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who’s ready to influence bigger strategy, own major client relationships, and have a future aspiration to lead and manage a team.
What you’ll bring to SALT:
- At least five years’ SEO experience in both technical and strategic campaign delivery
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliver exceptional results
- Strong client-handling skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for stakeholders
- Great consultancy skills with experience of proactively looking for growth opportunities that drive value add for clients
- Deep understanding of core SEO principles including crawlability, indexation, keyword optimisation, backlinks, UX, and analytics
- Advanced knowledge of algorithm updates (EEAT, Helpful Content, Core Web Vitals) and their business impact
- Proficiency in tools such as Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, GA4, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, and Search Console
- Solid grasp of web technologies (e.g. CDNs, CMSs) and performance optimisation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and genuine passion for staying ahead in SEO
