Reporting to: Senior E-commerce Assistant (Mat Cover) – E-commerce Manager upon return

Location: Unit 8 Bassendale Road, Croft Business Park, Bromborough, CH62, 3QL (Hybrid – 3 days on site, 2 days from home)

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £25,000 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Ecommerce Assistant to support in the day-to-day management and optimisation of our online store. This role will play a key part in ensuring products are accurately presented on site and ensuring the end-to-end delivery of new products and new brands is seamless.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end setup of new products on Shopify, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Liaise with the Trading team to obtain correct product copy, imagery, and relevant assets
  • Ensure all product descriptions and on-site content are written and within our best practice guidelines
  • Coordinate website imagery requests and manage the upload of final assets to Shopify
  • Upload and manage video content across product pages
  • Create and maintain brand pages and product collections for new and existing lines
  • Support merchandising of collections to optimise the customer journey
  • Provide day-to-day support by responding to queries from Customer Service and other internal departments

About You

Skills & Experience

  • Proficient IT skills include MS Office 365
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to learn new tasks efficiently and absorb new information
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Experience working with ecommerce platforms (Shopify preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience working on a retail e-commerce website
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g. Monday.com)
  • Basic understanding of digital merchandising and user experience
  • Familiarity with image and content management systems
