  • About Salon IQ

Salon IQ is the UK’s leading salon software platform, supporting thousands of hair, beauty, barber, and spa businesses to run smoothly and grow profitably.

From managing bookings to marketing campaigns, our platform gives salon owners the digital tools they need to thrive.

An important part of that journey is helping our customers with seamless, integrated payments.

Our payments solution, powered by Stripe and fully integrated into Salon IQ, allows salons to manage both their client bookings and payments all in one place.

We are now looking for a motivated Payments Specialist to help more salons unlock the benefits of our in-salon payment terminals.

The Role

The Payments Specialist will play a key role in driving adoption of Salon IQ’s in-salon payments solution.

You’ll connect with salon owners who already use Salon IQ, showcasing the value of switching to our integrated payments and helping them through the onboarding process.

You will be target-driven, confident in sales conversations, and skilled at building relationships with small business owners.

Using Hub Spot, you will track customer engagement, manage your pipeline, and report on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to existing Salon IQ customers (salon owners/managers) to promote our integrated in-salon payments solution.
  • Use Hub Spot to manage leads, track all outreach, and monitor the sales pipeline.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of switching to Salon IQ’s card terminals, including integration, subscriptions, team member tips and ease of reconciliation.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell payment services to maximise transaction volumes.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales KPIs and performance targets.
  • Share feedback and insights with the payments and management to continually improve the customer experience.

About You

  • Experience in the payments industry (merchant services, payment processing, card terminals).
  • Proven track record in sales, upselling, or account management — ideally within Saa S or payments.
  • Confident using Hub Spot (or similar CRMs) to manage outreach, track leads, and report performance.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working to KPIs and motivated by targets and commission.
  • Previous experience working with salon, spa, beauty, or hospitality businesses is desirable but not essential.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with uncapped commission potential.
  • Training and development on both Salon IQ and payment best practices.
  • Opportunities to grow within a fast-paced Saa S and payments team.
  • A supportive, collaborative culture where your contribution makes a real impact.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
