Duties
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments in accordance with client preferences and salon standards.
- Provide personalised consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
- Maintain a clean, organised work station and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and maintaining accurate records.
- Upsell additional services or products to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Mentor junior team members and assist in training new staff members to uphold high service standards.
- Support store management in daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the salon.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with strong technical skills in cutting, colouring, and styling.
- Additional expertise in barbering is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in front desk operations including appointment booking and client management systems.
- Ability to mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, and upselling techniques to enhance service offerings.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients efficiently during busy periods.
- Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey advice and recommendations to clients.
