Interested in a career in retail? Passionate about the outdoors? If that sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Salomon family! We are looking for a Stockroom Specialist / Sales Associate for a permanent position, full-time in our Salomon Store in Covent Garden, London.
Your role
You will be responsible for managing the flow of products within the store and contributing to the achievement of sales targets. You will ensure:
- An excellent level of customer service through optimal inventory management.
- The creation, monitoring, and execution of in-store merchandise flow processes.
Key Responsibilities
Your main duties include:
- Organizing the receipt of goods and carrying out both qualitative and quantitative checks on deliveries.
- Ensuring that stock is made available daily and as quickly as possible for placement on the sales floor in order to maximize sales opportunities.
- Participating in seasonal transitions in collaboration with the relevant departments.
- Assisting with the preparation and execution of physical inventory counts.
- Providing support to sales floor teams during periods of increased business activity when required.
Additionally, you will:
- Accompany and advise customers to provide them with a high-level customer experience, propose complementary products (additional sales).
- Be proficient in Sales Techniques and the Digital Tools available in store to provide outstanding customer service.
- Be confident at cash handling.
- Be a brand ambassador and leverage the brand service culture.
Qualifications

- You have at least 2 years of successful experience in a similar position within the retail or large-scale distribution sector.
- You are recognized for your strong organizational skills and your ability to optimize inventory management processes.
- You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering quality work.
- You have a good command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and are comfortable interpreting inventory reports.
- Knowledge of Cegid software.
- You are available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, and public holidays.
- Previous experience in customer service and retail.
- You love interacting with people and sharing your enthusiasm with the team.
- Passion and knowledge of Salomon's core sports.
- Team player with a hands-on approach and a strong willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that can include evenings, weekends and holidays.
