Job Description: Interested in a career in retail? Passionate about the outdoors? We are looking for a Sales Associate / Training Specialist for a permanent position, full-time in our Salomon Store in Covent Garden, London.
Your role:
- Utilize exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques and Salomon product knowledge to connect customers with the right product and drive sales.
- Accompany and advise customers to provide them with a high-level customer experience and propose complementary products.
- Be proficient in Sales Techniques and the Digital Tools available in store to provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist in protecting company assets and procedures through promoting loss prevention and ensure that the stockroom is clean and well-organized.
- Be confident at cash handling.
- Master standard operating procedures, health and safety guidelines, visual merchandising and community marketing principles.
- Be a brand ambassador and leverage the brand service culture.
- Lead training sessions for the Retail Team, support the onboarding process for new starters and liaise with the Retail Training Team in HQ (France).
This position involves 100% presence on the sales floor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service and retail.
- You love interacting with people and sharing your enthusiasm with the team.
- Passion and knowledge of Salomon's core sports.
- Team player with a hands-on approach and a strong willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that can include evenings, weekends and holidays.
