Role Overview

The Analytics Manager delivers high‑quality marketing insight, measurement and attribution work across a portfolio of commercial and not‑for‑profit clients. It owns digital analytics delivery across a client portfolio, works closely with a marketing data analyst covering measurement strategy, attribution, campaign performance and reporting, and translates complex briefs into clear, confident recommendations that drive client decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Present strategy, analytical findings and recommendations clearly and confidently to client stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data outputs into compelling narratives using data‑storytelling techniques that drive client decisions.
  • Build strong working relationships with client contacts, acting as a trusted analytical partner across your portfolio.
  • Support the marketing data analyst and wider team in preparing client‑facing materials, proposals and presentations.
  • Deliver analytical work across client digital analytics platforms (GA4, Adobe Analytics), including implementation reviews, measurement framework design and campaign performance analysis.
  • Work with tag‑management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager) to support tracking quality and data‑layer accuracy.
  • Apply attribution thinking to digital marketing channels, helping clients understand what drives conversion.
  • Contribute improvements to client analytics infrastructure, ensuring tracking is accurate, complete and privacy‑compliant.
  • Embed best practices across the team in measurement, quality assurance and documentation.
  • Engage with emerging analytics technologies and methods, helping shape the evolution of our digital analytics proposition.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Present analytical insight to clients or senior stakeholders (3‑5 years demonstrable experience).
  • Experience with marketing mix modelling or multi‑touch attribution methodologies.
  • Experience working with web analytics data for commercial decision‑making.
  • Proficiency in web analytics platforms such as GA4 or Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience with tag‑management systems such as Google Tag Manager.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python and/or R.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to make complex analysis understood.
