Salix Homes is looking to hire an Assistant Financial Accountant. A motivated and focused Finance Accountant with accounting knowledge. You will assist the Finance Manager (Treasury and Business Planning) supporting key financial activity within a forward‑thinking, customer‑focused housing association that provides social and affordable homes across Salford.
Role – What You’ll be Doing
- Produce cash flows and financial information to support the management of the treasury function.
- Account for and submit VAT and CIS to HMRC.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial accounts.
- Provide supporting information for regulatory and statutory returns.
- Support the internal and external auditing process.
- Ensure financial controls are complied with.
