We are recruiting for an experienced Healthy Homes Surveyor who will always have our customers at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate will be joining the Healthy Homes Team who provide reactive repairs across Salford and some areas of Greater Manchester. You will mainly be working alone but within a wider team managed by the Healthy Homes Manager.
The role – What I’ll be doing
The purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive pre and post inspection and surveying service to the company’s housing stock and related assets which involve subcontractors, and complex surveying duties. The focus of the role will be predominately carrying out Damp and Mould surveys and HHSRS assessments, together with other surveying functions within the organisation when required both in person and digitally and provide technical advice to colleagues.
Candidates will need access to a car and be able to travel around all Greater Manchester. Therefore a Full clean UK driving Licence is required and business insurance cover.
What we’re looking for
- Good written and verbal skills, takes pride in their work and is passionate about customer service.
- Experience working within a housing association repairs team previously is not necessary but would be a desirable quality.
- Ability to remain empathetic and professional no matter what circumstances they are faced with.
- Excellent ICT skills and ability to work with a wide range of programmes including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of AccuServ would also be desirable.
- Full clean UK driving licence and business insurance cover; access to a car.
- Operational hours 8.00am – 7.00pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9.00am – 4.30pm, occasional weekends and alternative working patterns during the week.
