Do you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in delivering excellent standards, and feel confident engaging with customers? You’re comfortable with manual work, can follow schedules, and can adapt when priorities change. We’re looking for a dedicated Green Space Officer to help keep our neighbourhoods clean, safe and welcoming. You’ll work outdoors across our communities, delivering a high-quality grounds maintenance service and ensuring communal spaces are tidy, well kept and enjoyable for residents.
What You'll be doing:
- Grounds maintenance around the external areas in our neighbourhoods and estates.
- Grass cutting services through Salix Homes’ neighbourhoods.
- The upkeep of defined areas in relation to grounds and hard surface maintenance, tree maintenance and herbicide application.
- Supporting our wider services as required in our parks and external areas.
What we are looking for:
- Have knowledge and experience of grounds maintenance techniques and horticulture principles.
- Are passionate about delivering outstanding service levels.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Has a full driving license.
- Can work flexibly to support their wider team members and the overall service as required.
