At Salix Homes, we believe safer communities start with strong support. We’re looking for a detail oriented and proactive individual to join us as a Part Time Community Safety Admin Support Officer. In this part-time role, you’ll be the backbone of our Community Safety Team, ensuring processes run smoothly, documents are prepared to the highest standard, and records are managed accurately.
About the role
We are looking for a person who is passionate about providing an effective administration service for the Community Safety Team, who thrives in a challenging work environment and is comfortable using their own initiative. The Community Safety (Admin) Support Officer is a part time post supporting the Manager and team with the preparation of court documents, maintaining records, processing invoices, note taking and other administrative duties. The role – What You’ll be doing
- Can manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in terms of ASB case stages and customer interactions.
- Retrieve system data and records from IT systems in preparation for court disclosure.
- Assist in the preparation of witness statements to court standard.
- Accurately produce letters and other documents in a range of formats, ensuring all records are accurately filed and managed.
- Record all invoices and expenditure following authorisation from the Community Safety Manager
- Attend any relevant meetings and provide administrative support as required, including diary management and note-taking.
What we’re looking for
We are looking one who is keen in developing their skills and has:
- Excellent organisational skills and is committed to improving services.
- Experience in utilising IT software packages such as Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel as well as housing management databases or similar.
- Ability to use their own initiative, work under pressure and manage competing tasks.
- Experience of effectively managing a demanding workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop effective relationships.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Are flexible in their approach to work.
- Have excellent ICT skills with the ability to maintain records appropriately, using a housing management software such as Northgate and a Customer Relations Management System.
