The U.S. Department of Education requires that each TRIO Program maintain effective administrative, reporting, and operational processes carried out by TRIO staff. Under limited supervision, this position provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Program Director and TRIO Program, with a primary focus on office management, communications, marketing, and student recruitment. This position requires a working knowledge of U.S. Department of Education TRIO legislation and regulations, as well as an understanding of Salisbury University’s administrative systems and procedures.
Authority and Accountability
TRIO Recruitment & Retention Coordinator reports to the Program Director and supervises 2 student workers. They have no budgetary responsibilities and authority.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 1 year of related experience with administration
- 2 years of work experience with marketing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of related experience with administration
- 3 years of work experience with marketing
The position is a Contingent II, full-time, exempt position. Priority will be given to applicants who apply by April 3, 2026. However, the position will remain open until filled.
