This critical position supports technology functions within the Registrar's Office in the following ways:
- Enrollment reporting for financial aid purposes
- Generating and managing automated processes in SU's SIS (PeopleSoft)
- Supporting other programming and technology needs
- Filtering and manipulating data to meet changing reporting criteria and demands
- Exploring system-delivered enhancements and their setup and configuration
- Providing technical business requirements and details for system enhancements
- Testing and validating SIS enhancements
- Constructing queries
- Troubleshooting data/processes/systems as directed within the Registrar's Office
Authority and Accountability
This position reports directly to the Registrar. They do not have any direct reports or budget responsibilities.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Computer Applications or related field
- 3 years in technical support or related field
- Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organisation and planning, prioritisation, problem solving, follow through, and time management skills
- Must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical background with Peoplesoft's academic advising and student records modules
- Working knowledge of SQL and JIRA
- Familiarity with Peoplesoft academic structure
The position is a full-time, exempt state role with comprehensive benefits. Priority will be given to applicants who apply by February 17, 2026. However, the position will remain open until filled.
