This position primarily conducts or supports investigations of allegations of violations of the University's nondiscrimination policies including EEO, employment discrimination, Civil Rights, and Title IX. The position also serves as a point-of-contact for students, faculty and staff across campus dealing with issues of fair practices. It supports the office staff and others to implement the fair practices goals of the strategic plan and provides training to encourage faculty, staff and students to comply with legal and policy anti-discrimination requirements.

Authority and Accountability

Position reports to the AVP of Institutional Equity.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Three to five years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, law, law enforcement/criminal justice or conflict analysis dispute resolution or one to three years of related experience and a master’s degree in business, human resources, law, law enforcement/criminal justice or conflict analysis dispute resolution.
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral & written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Investigation experience on civil rights, employment, EEO, or law enforcement.

The position is a full-time, exempt state role with comprehensive benefits. Priority will be given to applicants who apply by February 4, 2026. However, the position will remain open until filled.
