About the Role
As a Behaviour Technician (PBS Practitioner), you'll work closely with our Behaviour Specialist to deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support interventions for autistic individuals and people with complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving quality of life through person-centred, values-led support while developing their skills within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the development, implementation, and review of Positive Behaviour Support plans.
- Collecting, recording, and analysing behavioural data to inform support strategies.
- Assisting in the design and delivery of Autism and PBS training.
- Modelling Positive Behaviour Support principles across our services.
- Promoting independence, choice, and meaningful participation for the people we support.
- Building positive relationships with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and professional written reports.
- Planning and prioritising your workload effectively.
- Responding flexibly to changing service needs.
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, data protection, health & safety, equality, and other relevant legislation and policies.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience supporting autistic individuals and/or people with behaviours of concern.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in Autism, Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology, Health & Social Care, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for person-centred care and improving outcomes.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
