After School Club Assistant

Salisbury Road Primary School are looking for an After School Club Assistant who can support high quality and varied activities for the children within a safe and caring environment. The After School Club Assistant will provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the club.

We are looking for an After School Club Assistant who will:

• Deliver a varied programme of high-quality play opportunities in a safe environment
• Support the development of independent social skills
• Help to prepare snacks, cleaning club room and toys, reporting any damages and tidying up etc
• Help to implement positive behaviour strategies
• Liaise with parents to enable the effective operation of the club

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential.

About the School: Salisbury Road is a two form entry primary school that serves the locality of St Judes, near the city centre. We are situated in a large, three-storey, Victorian building in the heart of the community, and work closely with many local partners.
