We are looking to recruit a motivated and skilled HGV/PSV Vehicle Technician to work within our engineering team. The job involves inspection and quality repair work to our fleet of company vehicles ensuring compliance to company and Department of Transport standards.
Successful applicants must be able to work unsupervised to company standards, DVSA standards and have experience of working with PCV or HGVs. A City and Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, is essential, a full manual driving licence is preferred but not essential.
This is a full-time role, and you will be required to work 39 hours per week, based on working 5 days out of a 7 day week. The remuneration for this role is hourly paid and equated to £47,500 OTE for working 5 days out of a 7 day week. All overtime worked over 39 hours is paid at 1.3x.

The ideal candidate will have an ability to stay calm under pressure, to prioritise workload and to work to a high degree of accuracy unsupervised. You must be a good team player and be able to communicate appropriately at all levels.
