Do you have a proven track record in account management and a passion for building lasting customer relationships?
At Salisbury Poultry, we're looking for a commercially focused Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of retail customer accounts, drive profitable growth, and deliver exceptional customer service.
You'll work closely with teams across Production, Planning, Technical, Supply Chain, Finance and NPD to lead commercial activity, support product launches, manage forecasts, and identify opportunities that deliver value for both our customers and our business.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in Key Account Management, National Account Management or a similar commercial role
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with a proactive, results-driven approach
- FMCG, food manufacturing or retail supplier experience
- Experience working with major UK retailers
- Product launch and New Product Development (NPD) experience
- Forecasting, promotional planning and margin management experience
- Understanding of supply chain and operational processes within a manufacturing environment
- Experience using sales data and market insights to drive growth opportunities
