  • Route Marshals: Paired with another volunteer, you will ensure participants stay safe and follow the route. You’ll be a key point of contact, offering encouragement and assistance where needed, helping the walkers feel supported throughout.
  • Cheer Squad: Stationed at the finish line, you’ll congratulate participants as they finish the walk, handing out medals and celebrating their achievement. Your energy and enthusiasm will make their accomplishment even more special! Plus, you’ll help distribute gift bags to ensure a memorable experience.
  • Pack-up Crew: After the event concludes, help us take down decorations, pack up equipment, and leave the venue spotless for a smooth closure.

A volunteer on the Midnight Walk: “I really enjoyed handing out snacks and water at the half-way stage on the Midnight Walk this year. It was truly inspiring to see how many people of all ages had taken part despite the very changeable weather. A huge thank you too to all the people who organised the walk.”
