Salary: £44,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday 05:00 – 14:00 (60 minute unpaid break each shift), with some weekend overtime required.
We are seeking an experienced Window Cleaning Team Leader to oversee the daily delivery of our window cleaning services and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day operation, coordinating activities, supporting the team on site, and ensuring all scheduled work is completed as planned. This role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibility for reviewing completed works, providing operational updates, and carrying out internal window cleaning duties when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting with the night team to conduct handovers and review completed works.
- Carrying out internal window cleaning where required.
- Supporting and supervising the operational team to ensure planned tasks are completed efficiently.
- Monitoring progress and providing updates on completed, outstanding and upcoming works.
- Maintaining high standards of service delivery, quality and safety.
- Supporting weekend works when required, with overtime paid accordingly.
About You
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with previous window cleaning experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to lead by example while maintaining exceptional standards and team performance.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Experience leading, supervising or coordinating a team within a cleaning, facilities management or similar environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to schedule and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) works effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with colleagues, management, clients and building occupants.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation, safe systems of work, COSHH requirements and risk management practices.
- Strong administrative skills, with the ability to complete reports, records and company documentation accurately.
- A positive, proactive and customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- A right to work in the UK.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a Basic DBS check and a 3-year employment history check as part of the pre‑employment screening process.
