As Regional Director, you’ll be accountable for the strategic leadership, commercial performance, and long-term sustainability of Atlas’ cleaning portfolio within your region. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead and develop a team of Regional Managers, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and profitable service delivery across a diverse portfolio of contracts. You’ll act as the senior operational voice for cleaning in your region, balancing commercial discipline with a strong people-first approach.
This is a highly influential role where you’ll:
- Set and deliver the regional cleaning strategy
- Drive client retention, growth, and long-term partnerships
- Own regional financial performance and risk
- Provide governance and assurance across operations, compliance, and health & safety
- Use performance data and insight to inform decisions and hold teams to account

You’ll work closely with central support teams and senior stakeholders to ensure the region consistently delivers a “Start with WOW” experience for clients and colleagues alike.
You’re a confident, credible senior leader with experience managing multi-site or regional operations in cleaning, facilities management, or a similar service-led environment. You lead leaders well, setting clear direction, offering challenge and support, and creating a culture where people feel empowered, accountable, and valued. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience owning regional or portfolio-level performance
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget and margin accountability
- The ability to manage risk, compliance, and governance at scale
- Excellent stakeholder and client relationship skills
- Confidence using performance data, dashboards, and management information to drive improvement
- A values-led leadership style aligned to integrity, openness, and collaboration
Experience working with business intelligence tools (such as Power BI) is beneficial, but what matters most is your ability to interpret insight, ask the right questions, and turn data into action. You’ll be comfortable travelling across your region and representing Atlas professionally at senior level.
