Responsibilities

  • General cleaning duties including wiping, mopping, hoovering and dusting.
  • Follow site‑specific cleaning and audit processes.
  • Ensure cleaning standards meet health and safety requirements.
  • Support clear communication by reporting any issues promptly.
  • Respect site rules, including mobile phone use and key handling procedures.
  • Support a safe environment for children and staff by following safeguarding protocols.
  • Receive full training, including an on‑site induction and support to understand the cleaning specification and safeguarding expectations.

About You

  • Friendly, trustworthy and professional.
  • Strong attention to detail and take pride in your work.
  • Able to follow safeguarding requirements and site procedures.
  • Have a valid Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce) dated within the last 3 years or willingness to complete one.
  • Be able to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
  • Confident with basic spoken English for safety and communication.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Provide two satisfactory references as part of the recruitment process.
