About the Role
Atlas FM is looking to recruit a mobile cleaner who has a strong contract cleaning background – the role is based around the Devon area.
What we are paying: £13.00 per hour.
The hours you shall be working will be: This is a zero‑hours Mobile Cleaning role, designed to support operational cover across our sites. No minimum hours are guaranteed, and shifts will be offered based on business needs. We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to support with ad hoc cover when available. You will have the flexibility to accept or decline shifts offered.
This position will require you to work a combination of early mornings and late evenings, and nights; therefore the successful candidate must be very flexible depending on the needs of the business.

What you’ll be doing
- As part of the Atlas Family, you’ll dedicate your time on different sites to going the extra mile and seamlessly meeting the needs of Atlas’ client sites.
- You’ll be inducted at the start of your contract and Atlas will train you within your first week of work. You’ll learn how to deliver the cleaning specification, and use the equipment. We will keep it simple and give you all you need to succeed.
- We will provide you with company van, fuel card and mobile phone.
- Handling site‑based equipment and cleaning materials (don’t worry you will get full training).
- Replenishing consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper and bin liners.
- Emptying all litter bins into appropriate waste & recycling containers.
- Ensuring cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all time.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times. Atlas will make sure you’re fully prepared so that you can begin with a full understanding of what to look out for.
- Working within a team that goes the extra mile.
About You
- An attitude to thrive, and cleaning experience (although we can fully train you from scratch if you match our positive and thoughtful approach).
- Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
- We require all of our employees have a basic level of spoken English. This is for communication on safety, and your confidence communicating with members of the public.
- Good social skills to deliver service with a smile.
- A Full UK driving licence.
- A right to work in the UK (please bring your evidence to the interview) and this applies to all UK and Non‑UK nationals.
- Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of a DBS check at the required level.
- Please note that due to the nature of the position, the successful candidate will be subject to a driving licence check before deployment.
- A Basic DBS check.
