About The Role

Days and hours: Wednesday 09:00 - 11:00am.

Hourly rate: £13.45.

Location: Pickering, North Yorkshire, YO18 7JL.

We are looking for a Cleaner at our client’s premises who is enthusiastic, takes pride in their work, has great attention to detail, and is local to the area.

Responsibilities

  • Dedicate time on site to meeting the needs of our clients.
  • Inducted at the start of the contract and receive training within the first week on cleaning specification and equipment usage.
  • Provide a high standard of customer care across shift hours.
  • Handle site‑based equipment and cleaning materials; receive full training.
  • Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper and bin liners.
  • Empty all litter bins into appropriate waste and recycling containers.
  • Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
  • Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
  • Work within a team that goes the extra mile.

Candidate Requirements

  • Local to the area.
  • Positive and friendly attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in work.
  • Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
  • Basic spoken English for safety and communication with public and management.
  • Good social skills to deliver service with a smile.
