Hourly Rate: £13.63

Location: Milton Keynes, MK9 1BP

Shift Pattern: This is a zero-hours role, designed to support operational cover across our sites. No minimum hours are guaranteed, and shifts will be offered based on business needs. We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to support with ad hoc cover when available. You will have the flexibility to accept or decline shifts offered.

The Role – Relief Security Officer

We are seeking reliable and professional Zero Hours Security Officers to support a busy corporate office and mixed‑use environment in Milton Keynes. This flexible role is ideal for officers who want varied shifts and the opportunity to work across a premium estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a smart, professional security presence
• Conduct internal/external patrols and safety checks
• Monitor CCTV, access control and alarm systems
• Respond to incidents calmly and effectively
• Deliver excellent customer service to staff and visitors
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports

Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence
• Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
• Professional appearance suitable for a corporate setting
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and short‑notice shifts
• Previous corporate or building response experience desirable
• 5 year work checkable work history

What you’ll be doing:

• Working across a range of sites providing holiday and sickness cover
• Protecting our customers property and people
• Providing a high standard of customer care
• Delivery of security duties including access control, patrolling, CCTV monitoring.

• Being an ambassador for both our customers and Atlas Security

About You

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following experience, skills, behaviours necessary to meet the requirements of the role:

• We require all of our employees have a good level of written and spoken English
• You must hold an SIA licence or be willing to undertake the necessary training
