About the Role
We’re looking for amechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join ourSite Static Team atAtlas Workplace Services . In this role, you’ll support the efficient delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio. You’ll be expected to deliver a wide range of statutory and routine PPMs, as well as reactive tasks, all in line with specific contract SLAs.
This is a hands-on role requiring a multi-skilled engineer with a strong mechanical background and experience in delivering high-quality work across various FM disciplines.
️Key Responsibilities
- Deliver statutory and routine PPMs and reactive maintenance in line with contract SLAs.
- Ensure the highest standards and Atlas competencies are consistently demonstrated.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the customer and team.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, customers, and colleagues.
- Ensure best value by verifying resource and material suitability.
- Report performance to your Technical Service Manager.
- Safely deliver all Atlas works, including those of service partners.
- Estimate time and materials for minor works.
- Liaise with Account Coordinators, Schedulers, Management, and Sub-Contractors.
- Build strong relationships across the Atlas network.
- Keep Maximo system updated and ensure accurate timesheet entries.
- Take ownership of work quality and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Participate in out-of-hours call-out responsibilities when rostered.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and multi-disciplinary FM tasks.
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and PPM delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required
- Full DrivingLicense
- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
- City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or Building services
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role
- 1 years’ experience in customer facing outsourcing environment.
- Strong, demonstrable competencies of dealing with building services plant.
- Knowledge and experience of working on HVAC systems
- 2 years previous experience within similar environment and in particular across area multi sites and multi
- Experience of working with asset/work management systems such as MAXIMO / CAFM systems on smartphones.
- Ability to manage priorities in line with business needs
- Ability to turn hand to most activities within a building maintenance environment
