Covering locations in and around Manchester
As a Mobile Cleaning & Window Cleaning Operative, you will play a key part in delivering safe, clean and well‑presented environments across our commercial and residential portfolio. Working across multiple sites, you’ll take ownership of both internal cleaning and external window cleaning, ensuring every area reflects the high standards our clients expect from Atlas. You’ll complete a wide range of cleaning duties, such as maintaining communal areas, offices, stairwells, kitchens and washrooms, while also carrying out internal and external window cleaning using both traditional methods and water‑fed pole systems. Your role will involve travelling between sites, working safely at height, and using manual and powered equipment in line with your training. Safety, professionalism and service excellence sit at the heart of what we do. You’ll follow all RAMS, COSHH guidance and site procedures, reporting any issues promptly and keeping your vehicle, equipment and PPE in good order. You’ll also interact with clients, residents and colleagues, representing Atlas with a friendly, respectful and solution‑focused approach.
This is a mobile role, and a company van, fuel card, phone and all required equipment will be provided.
You’re an experienced cleaner with strong attention to detail and a genuine pride in delivering high standards. You are reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently across multiple locations. You follow instructions accurately, work to site specifications, and understand the importance of presenting clean, safe and welcoming spaces. You’ll be confident working outdoors and at height (full training provided) and will take a safety‑first approach in everything you do. You communicate clearly, handle interactions professionally, and are proactive in reporting issues or improvements. Your flexible attitude means you’re happy to support the wider team with holiday cover, sickness cover and ad‑hoc tasks where needed. It would be an advantage if you have experience in window cleaning, traditional or water‑fed pole, but this is not essential. A full UK driving licence is beneficial for this mobile position.
If you take pride in high‑quality work, enjoy variety in your day, and want to be part of a supportive, values‑led team, we’d love to hear from you.
Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of a Basic DBS check. Please note that due to the nature of the position, the successful candidate will be subject to a driving licence check before deployment.
