About The Role

Atlas Workplace Services is seeking a skilled and versatile Building Services Engineer to join our regional mobile engineering team.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across a diverse portfolio of client sites.

Working to agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and industry standards, you will play a key role in ensuring building services systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with SFG20 standards.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests across multiple building services disciplines.
  • Deliver minor repair works and maintenance activities to a high standard.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in line with Atlas Workplace Services procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records through the Maximo CAFM system using company-issued mobile technology.
  • Liaise with clients, customers, subcontractors, schedulers, and management teams to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Provide technical advice and support to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
  • Contribute towards achieving and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels.

About You

Essential Requirements

  • GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent)

Desirable Requirements

  • Accredited Health & Safety qualification (e. g. IOSH Working Safely or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds BS7671 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect Electrical qualification (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, HVAC or Building Services
  • Legionella (L8) trained and competent
  • Hot Water Systems and Safety (HWSS) – G3 Unvented
  • City & Guilds TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) Service, Commissioning & Maintenance
