What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in a nursery setting; receive full training, including an on-site induction and support to understand the cleaning specification and safeguarding expectations.
- General cleaning duties including wiping, mopping, hoovering and dusting
- Follow site-specific cleaning and audit processes
- Ensure cleaning standards meet health and safety requirements
- Report any issues promptly to support clear communication
- Respect site rules, including mobile phone use and key handling procedures
- Support a safe environment for children and staff by following safeguarding protocols
Important Safeguarding Requirement: Before starting work on site, you will need to be introduced to the nursery manager and present your original Enhanced DBS certificate (Child Workforce) along with photographic ID. This introduction must take place before your first shift.
