As a Night Operations Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of our security operations, ensuring the safety and smooth running of services during overnight hours. Working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (18:00-06:00), you’ll take the lead in monitoring CCTV systems, coordinating incident responses, and managing our mobile security teams to deliver a professional and reliable service.
From liaising with Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC) to overseeing Mobile Officers on the ground, you’ll ensure that every response is timely, accurate, and compliant with legal and company standards. You’ll also play a key role in reporting, rostering, welfare checks, and incident handovers, keeping communication clear and operations seamless.

We’re looking for a confident and decisive supervisor with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You’ll bring excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with a professional telephone manner and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Organisation and attention to detail are key, as you’ll be managing shift activity, monitoring site and vehicle tracking systems, and ensuring incidents are accurately recorded and escalated. You’ll be IT literate, comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as staff management software.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring CCTV systems and responding appropriately to incidents
- Operating the site security control room
- Managing radio communications
- Monitoring and responding to alarms
- Controlling and monitoring access to the site
- Keyholding and maintaining accurate key records
- Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate control room records
- Escalating incidents in line with site procedures
- Maintaining a professional and vigilant approach throughout the shift
Requirements
- A valid SIA CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Licence
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor OR Security Guarding Licence
- Good communication skills
- A professional and reliable attitude
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions when dealing with incidents
- Basic IT skills and the ability to complete clear written reports
- Previous control room or CCTV experience would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate.
