About The Role
Based at our beautiful Head Office in Datchet, Slough, SL3 9JT, Atlas is looking for an enthusiastic Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to complement our existing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the management of all Employee Relations cases, varying in complexity, risk and volume.
- Manage a diverse caseload, inclusive of dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, retirements, redundancies and any employment litigation claims.
- Provide prompt and comprehensive advice to managers on employee relation matters and collaborate with our legal partners as required.
- Coach and mentor line managers on effective approaches to handling issues.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, policies, and requirements across the company.
- Gather pertinent facts for each case to ensure accurate advice.
- Review and advise on case evidence, notes, and procedural correspondence, and support operational teams in meetings and hearings as necessary.
- Draft HR‑related correspondence on behalf of managers.
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure timely progression of all cases through effective tracking, providing weekly and periodic reporting on case statistics and updates.
- Collate, analyse and report on data to identify trends and provide proactive resolutions.
- Support the wider HR team with the delivery of leadership initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for improving policies and procedures.
- Assist with TUPE transfer processes, both incoming and outgoing.
- Interface with Trade Unions.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects as part of the people strategy.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in a similar ER/HR role within a fast‑paced, high case‑volume environment.
- Experience handling the full spectrum of ER cases including disputes, disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, absences, redundancies, early conciliation, and employment tribunals.
- Up‑to‑date working knowledge of UK employment legislation, including GDPR.
- Excellent stakeholder and change management skills.
- Good analytical and systems skills.
- Full, clean driving licence and own car.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in Facilities Management, Cleaning, or Security.
- Trade Union experience.
- Level 5 CIPD qualifications.
