Community Development Officer

Salary £22,092 - £22,838

Hours: 25.5 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday. (Working pattern is open to discussion)

As Community Development Officer, you’ll design and deliver inspiring projects, support some of the area’s most vulnerable and underrepresented residents and play a key role in helping people access opportunities, build relationships and feel part of their local community.

We are looking for people who:

  • Have experience of delivering community-based projects
  • Can communicate well with a diverse range of people
  • Can manage workload in a flexible manner which is responsive to both urgency and feedback.
  • Have knowledge of community development good practice using Asset Based Community Development principles.

We welcome applications from people who have experience of the positive impact that community groups and projects can have on wellbeing and on overcoming barriers to participation.
