Location: Salisbury

Salary: £24,309 – £24,404 per annum

37 hours per week on a seasonal rota (Summer and winter).

Salisbury City Council has an exciting opportunity to join our grounds team. We are proud of the service which we provide and the high standard of grounds maintenance we deliver in maintaining the parks and green spaces within the parish of Salisbury.

Do you have an interest in gardening and working outside? If so, this position could be for you!

Join or team of staff undertaking all aspects of grounds maintenance work, helping to keep our green and pleasant city tidy and attractive to visitors and residents.

Person specification:

• Able to and enjoys working outdoors, in all weathers
• Team player
• Interested in all aspects of grounds maintenance
• Keen to support the community and residents of Salisbury
• Physically able to carry out manual tasks, including: mowing, strimming, hedge trimming, planting, sports pitch marking, gardening.
• Dependable and good time keeper
• Professional and polite attitude
• Able to use own initiative

Essential requirement:

• Full driving license

Desirable requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of H&S requirements
