Grounds Operative (part-time)

Location: Salisbury

Salary: £12.60 – £12.65 per hour

Hours: 15 hours per week, working Thursdays & Fridays

Proposed start date: 03 April 2025

Salisbury City Council has an opportunity to join our grounds team on a part-time basis, commencing April 2025.

Salisbury City Council own and maintain parks and green spaces within the parish of Salisbury. We are proud of the service we provide on behalf of Salisbury's residents and the high standard of grounds maintenance we deliver.

Do you have an interest in gardening, all aspects of grounds maintenance and willingness to work in an all weathers as part of a team?
A Grounds Operative will do a variety of tasks, including:

  • Mowing
  • Strimming
  • Gardening
  • Hedge trimming
  • Sports pitch marking
  • Planting

Essential requirement:

Full driving license
Physically able to undertake manual tasks
