- Strong commitment to LGBTQ+ equality, inclusion, and community empowerment.
- Experience of chairing meetings or leading boards/committees (desirable, but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and support effective governance.
- Confidence in acting as a public ambassador for the charity.

They act as an ambassador for the organisation within Salford and beyond, ensuring it remains focused on its mission delivering Salford's annual Pride celebration and other events, projects, and initiatives that support and benefit the local LGBTQ+ community.
