  • Ensure all events and projects meet required health and safety standards, and manage risk assessments in collaboration with the Board and Chair.
  • Work cross-functionally with departments such as Marketing, Fundraising, and Communications to ensure cohesive event promotion and community engagement.
  • Act as a secondary contact for sponsors and partners; support sponsorship acquisition and relationship management.
  • Monitor and manage event budgets and resource allocation, ensuring accountability and value.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to the Committee Lead and Board of Trustees.
  • Uphold and promote Salford Pride’s values of diversity, equity, and inclusion across all activities.
  • Conduct post-event reviews to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all major decisions, sponsorships, and events are approved by the Board of Trustees prior to execution.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and inspire volunteers.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of event safety, risk management, and logistics.
  • Experience in sponsorship development or partnership management.
  • Familiarity with LGBTQ+ community engagement and awareness of the issues facing the community.
  • Experience working in a volunteer-led or non-hierarchical organisational structure.
