Salford City Council is seeking a dedicated Support Officer to join our Regulatory Services team and help protect and promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of our residents and visitors. As a Support Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering operational solutions across Regulatory Services. You’ll work closely with Lead Practitioners, Service Managers, and a range of stakeholders to ensure Salford remains a safe, vibrant, and thriving place to live and work. You will support the service, collaborating with internal and external enforcement bodies to resolve issues quickly and effectively. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work across different service areas and contribute to meaningful change in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of area‑based and projects aligned with council strategies.
- Support the monitoring and completion of assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure successful work programme delivery.
- Apply knowledge to real‑world situations to promote compliance and best practice.
