The predicted salary is between 37338 - 45000 £ per year.

The Integrated Commissioning Team delivers high quality strategic commissioning activity across adult social care and community health services. The team works with colleagues in adult social care operations and the Salford Locality Integrated Care Board (ICB), with a range of service providers and the people who are supported by services. The team has a strong focus on collaboration and co-production. The work of the team ensures Salford commissions high quality, value for money adult social care and community health services for Salford people. You will be joining an experienced and highly motivated team.

This role will have a specific focus on strategic commissioning of learning disability and neurodiversity adult services for Salford people. The role will have a number of key areas of focus including leading on strategy development and implementation, supporting and enabling the voice of people in commissioning work, and fostering relationships with specialist adult social care and health providers to ensure continual high quality is secured. The role will represent Salford at local, regional and national networks.

We are looking for an experienced commissioner who has a passion for collaboration and values the voice of people with lived experience. The post holder will demonstrate a track record of delivering high quality commissioning programmes across adult social care and health, including knowledge and experience for service specification development and tendering. They will hold knowledge of relevant policy and strategy relating to adult learning disability and neurodiversity. We want a team player who can work with colleagues across a wide range of professional areas. The post holder will demonstrate drive, determination and a commitment to securing best outcomes for people.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £21.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £5.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £21.50.
