Salford City Council is seeking a Family Help Practitioner to support attendance across seven Salford high schools.

The role is based in school with a flexible, up-to-36-hours-per-week pattern and a fixed-term contract until 31 July 2027.

The post emphasises an asset‑based, relational approach to empower families and improve pupil attendance and outcomes.

We welcome dedicated applicants with experience in family support who can collaborate with schools and partners to enable pupils in Years 7–11
